Globey's Article

1. What did you think about the article? I think the article was good because we finally get some credit for our school.
2. How did it make you feel to read about your school and Globaloria, a program that you participate in? It made me think about the future and how we will be in the press a lot more.
3. If your game was featured in the article, how did it make you feel? Proud, happy? Unfortunately our game wasn't in it.
4. If your game was not featured in the article, what would you like for the author to have said about your game? I would like for the author to say that we tried very hard and unfortunately they didn't make the cut.
5. Which game do you think the author should have mentioned in his article and why? He mentioned everything that I would say so he did good except for miss spelled words.

Forks Over Knives

1. What do you think this documentary will be about? I think this documentary will be about food and how it's harming us

2. What do you think the title implies or indicates about the film? I think it means or indicates that people are eating a lot.

NOTES: Germans occupied Norway So they can have meat and resources for their own soldiers and this caused Norwegians to eat a lot more plant based foods then that's when diseases and deaths went down by a lot. Philippines started to become bigger by three generations, the grandparents where in good shape and all of the kids had bad health and got sicker faster.

My Comments

Laura P.-Your game is fun and cool. Because you can have fun and learn about what your topic is. I think your game was very well put together. I like how you have to answer a question to pass the level, and the levels are challenging.

Micheal A.-I think your game is amazing. This is like a game off of a real internet site. I like how the game has amazing graphics and works correctly. Your game is fun for playing and even better for facts because there's a lot of them.

Christian G.-I like your game and I like the beat too. You can learn from it too. But the thing you can improve on is at the end it's either the drag and drop code is wrong or I don't know what else.

Respect

To me respect can mean from a variety of things like if you walk into a room you greet that person with a firm handshake and say hello. Respect can look like you treating that person as an equal and not being prejudice or just going off of looks to judge someone. In class it looks like you you minding the teacher and the teacher is also listening and treating us as an equal because we are young adults. In the computer lab respect can look like not bringing in food or drinks and not being rough with the computers. In the hallways you can show respect by if you bump into someone you can say excuse me or say sorry. During breakfast/lunch you can not skip unless you ask that person. When we have visitors you can greet them with a hello and tell them something about the campus. When we visit other campuses you can raise your hand to ask questions or when you go to eat clean up after yourself.

Nike

I think this man is smart because most people would be like Nike and they would sign a deal without doing researching the product and even think about how the shoes are made. I think the sweat shops are very bad because people in Indonesia cant even survive a week without starving. I think America can help these factories because we can start opening factories so people with out jobs can have jobs. Another reason is so we can finally be looked at not be discriminated against by other countries about us being a bad country.

Globaloria and Gamefication, Game Design, & Game Mechanics

What do you learn in Globaloria? We learn how to blog, make flash
games and Wiki.

Remember all of the skills you have learned over the past two and a half years? The skills that I learned over the past 2.5 years ago is How to type better, how to use words right in a sentence the right way, we learned how to use flash and make things in flash, and we learned how to operate wiki.

Name at least five of these skills? I learned how to type, put sentence in correct punctuation.

How can these skills prepare you for a successful academic future and how could you use these skills to find a great job? It will help me by making sentences that make since and I don't think it will help me in my job because I will like to be in the N.F.L. or the N.B.A.
