Mini-Game

Was it hard to make your mini game? On some steps yes but on some other steps it was a little challenging but overall it was fun.

What was the best part of this topic? I would say the best part of making the game was finishing and uploading it.

The worst part? The worst part was to me was nothing at all because I learned some old stuff I forgot and I learned some stuff I didn't know.

911 Survivors 2011

How old were you on September 11, 2001? 3 years old.

When did you first learn about the attacks and who explained the events to you? I really heard about it in 5th grade but I really learned about it in 6th grade.

What kind of impact did these attacks have on your life or your parents lives? It gave me an big reality check.

1. What was the issue with this game? They where teaching kids and other people how to be terrorist themselves.


2. How do you feel about it? I don't like because you are still killing innocent.


3. What is the problem with portraying on such an awful violent event through a video game? They are condoning violence through the game or in real life. It shows that you can terrorize people then they make it seem like it's okay.


4. How can you make sure that your web games tell the whole story or teach a lesson in an honorable way? Comment and make an suggestion or suggestions.

2 Single Story 2011

''Danger of a Single Story''

1. What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community? To be fed one story about a community and not a full story about the community.

2. Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community? I have heard stuff about East side all my life like drugs,raping,killings, and bad schools but what they don't know is we have a college prep school right in the East side, and what they are missing is to visit the East side and really see what is happening instead of being biased.

3. Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you find out more about that community? How California has all of these gangs,killings, just nothing but bad stuff but what people fail to understand is that's only one part and it's really not like that anymore.

4. How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community? Doing a game that tells you about all of the community instead of one neighborhood.

1 Cyberbully 2011

This is my first blog post of the 2011-2012 school year. We Watched a movie titled Cyber-bully. It was about real stuff that happens in our house or at school. It shows bullying on another level we all think know bullying happens in school but it happens online too. It can lead to dipression and thoughts of cuicide it has become such a problem that they made it a law in some states. Theres different types of cyber-bullying impersonating,sexual,threats,gossiping,intimodation, and more.

The movie is about this girl named Taylor and she was the girl who getting cyber-bullied. She had two maine friends in the movie Samantha and Kris. Tyler liked this boy and the boy felt the same way and. And Samantha her friend made a fake Clicksters and said all these things about her and everybody else was saying stuff too. This is where Cyber-bullying comes in Tyler tells her mom and her mom told her to delete her profile and she didn't. The bullying just got worse Tyler kept on crying and kept getting on the website. So she finally got fed up with it and tried to commit suicide with peals and she couldn't open the bottle then Samantha walked in and stopped her and they took her to the hospital to get her stabled. She went back to school and everything got better for her.

I think the new Ds 3D is cool because it's 3D and you don't need glasses. You can still play games from the regular Ds. It still has a touch screen and you can turn off the 3D if you want.

I would pick Chris Johnson to be on my game because he's the best running back in the N.F.L And that's really hard because the N.F.L is like a league full of allstars. When they are in a season they do good in training but when the season is over they train even more like Adrian Peterson he plays for the Minnesota Vikings he pulls 8 parashutes. If I tryed to do that I would fly away.
